Founded in 1965, the Quarry Tile Company has become one of the nation’s leading specialty tile manufacturers.

Before the lighting retrofit, Quarry Tile’s customers and employees struggled to accurately determine the color of tile samples when viewing them on the factory floor. By installing an extremely efficient, high lumen system, Energy Industries was able to increase light levels while reducing energy consumption.

The new system provides more overall lumens and better light quality. The high color rendering index, or CRI, of the T8 lamps means that colors appear more vivid. Now, not only is color differentiation more accurate, but the colors are generally brighter. This energy project improved Quarry Tile’s bottom line as well as its sales potential.
